I am looking for people who would be interested in my Vegan Pregnancy Study. Many midwives & doctors, even some who generally agree with vegan & raw diets, will not support their pregnant clients who choose to remain vegan and/or raw during pregnancy, out of concern for the health of the unborn child.
For this reason, I am conducting a study to see how healthy a woman & her baby can be on a 100% vegan, 70% or more raw diet. My study will involve a minimum of 50 pregnant women (trustfully many more!) on a 100%, vegan, 70% or more raw, organic diet. Once the study is complete, it will be published for parents, grandparents, midwives & other health practitioners, along with photos, & stories from raw vegan families.
If you have contacts to forward this to, or would like to help with or participate in the study, or just keep informed, I would love to hear from you & would really appreciate your input. Please feel free to post this message to forums or invite people to join this group. We can be a strong resource for families.
Others who have gone before are welcome to share their stories for the book. For the study to be conclusive, a participant will have to be in the study during a portion of her pregnancy & postpartum period. I would love to hear from mothers currently pregnant or those who plan to become pregnant in the next year & a half.
I am also looking for the best & most affordable nutritional testing options, if anyone has suggestions that would be great. Thanks for getting back with me. I look forward to staying in touch!
Blessings of light & health for all,
Karen
